Hillary Hall was elected Boulder County Clerk & Recorder in 2006 and began her term in 2007. She is now a candidate for a second term in 2010. As Boulder County Clerk & Recorder, Hillary oversees three divisions including Elections, Motor Vehicle and Recording.
Hillary is an active member of the Colorado County Clerks Association. She currently serves as co- chair of their Legislative Committee. During the 2009 legislative session, she helped champion House Bills 1335, 1336, and 1337, known as the “election triplets”. The bills have improved election processes across Colorado. In addition to her legislative duties, Hillary serves on the Statewide Colorado Registration and Election (SCORE) System Advisory Board. The Advisory Board is responsible for the oversight of the statewide voter registration system.
Hillary was born in Denver and grew up in Boulder, graduating from Fairview High School. Hillary has been dedicated to community service from her youth. She was a campaign volunteer for Jimmy Carter and developed her passion for public service and for community service through her involvement with the Mountainview Methodist Youth Group. Hillary’s first election campaign was her senior year at Fairview where she and Stratton Heath ran together and were elected Senior Class President and Secretary/Treasurer with their campaign headquarters in Rollie and Josie’s basement.
Hillary worked summers during high school managing the Boulder County Parks and Recreation Day Camp program and met her husband, Tim Enwall, a Boulder High graduate while working in that program. Tim and Hillary live in Boulder Heights with their two daughters – Brittney and Jessica, two Golden Retrievers – Lila and Jaxon and three cats – GBU, Apollo and Athena.

- Recipient of the Jack Major Volunteer of the Year Award 1998.
- Board Member – Boulder Preparatory High School.
- Member of the Handweaver’s Guild of Boulder County.
- Member of the Foster Parent’s Association of Boulder County.
- Served as Boulder County Coordinator – Rollie Heath for Governor Campaign.
- Chair of the Boulder County Democratic Party – Feb 2003- Feb 2006.
- Co-Chair of the Colorado Democratic Party Strategic Planning Committee.
- Member of Colorado Democratic Party Central Committee and Executive Committee.
